Well, I`m currently in Kobe with Jen, Matt Starsky and Simon because we have a three day seminar starting tomorrow and we figured it would be nice to cruise around for a day beforehand. It was a bit of an effort getting here because I went to Fukuoka on Saturday for a baseball game (which our team lost :( ) and didn:t have any accommodation, so I ended up going back to Shimonoseki with another ALT, Anita, and staying at her place. After 5 hours sleep I got up and headed to the bullet train station, only to see the train I needed to be on pulling out of the station. Bugger. The next train wasn:t for half and hour, and that meant I was 40 minutes late getting to Hiroshima where I was meant to meet the others - sorry guys, my bad.
But we finally got sorted and have had a great day. Tonight we are staying at a hostel with free internet, so I:m just doing a quick heads up. I get back to Hagi late wednesday and have school on Thursday, so I reckon I am going to be pretty stuffed.
Ah well, it is nice to be in a big town!!
